Inspired by a collection of vintage watercolor paintings, a romantic, evocative impression of light prominent in these drawings informed a nuanced palette and a general design outlook. We set out to study, capture, and celebrate the effects of light and bring out a palpable sense of warmth from each condition to create an interconnected scheme throughout. While the house sits amongst lush landscapes, we leaned into the evident presence of a gentle, overcasting green tint and used it in a series reflecting its evolving qualities when mingling with the transitory light.
